WHY TO PARTICIPATE:

Created by a restaurant owner with a passion for supporting local hunger relief, RRW is a meaningful yet simple way for chefs and restaurants in Richmond to reach more people in our community. Participating in RRW provides an opportunity to attract new customers, highlight your menu and creativity, and show the region that you care deeply about its neediest residents.

WHAT ARE THE RULES?

The guidelines for being involved in RRW are simple, but we take them seriously as we want this to be a consistently excellent experience for diners. Please read these carefully before applying to participate.


PARTICIPATING RESTAURANTS MUST:

  1. Have been in business for at least one year.

  2. Be locally and independently owned. No chains or franchises.

  3. Have a menu that supports a three-course, fixed price menu that is in line with their concept and that would be appealing to new guests for $25 (meal will cost diners $29.19)

  4. Donate $4.19 of each meal to our charitable partner, Feed More.

  5. Be willing and able to participate in both the April and October dates.

  6. Apply by the deadline (see button below). Once that deadline has passed, restaurants may apply, but will not be considered until the following calendar year.

  7. Have a chef and kitchen staff willing and able to accept the menu challenge while offering guests an experience that is consistent with your restaurant.

  8. Have a sense of friendly competition. Everyone is challenged to create the best menu, but to be civil and in good spirits with other participants.

  9. Sign a contract upon their acceptance that denotes these rules. Not fulfilling the requirements during the April event may disqualify you from participating in the October event.

  10. Educate their entire staff on the event details, event menu and the charitable recipient, Feed More, in order to answer any guest questions and provide an excellent dining experience.

  11. When possible and appropriate, promote the event through their marketing efforts including social media and marketing materials inside the restaurant.
